Wow, things look different

by on Feb.01, 2004, under General

I’ve gotten into this psycho cleaning kick lately, along with psycho lots of things. And its amazing what the results are in my room. It’s actually pretty clean! I can see the floor! Even more amazing? I MADE MY BED!!!

Aside from that, got other things I’m cleaning up, including one very old and nasty habit. I’m on day four without it! smile Again, I won’t post details, but most can guess wink.

Last, one thing I haven’t done in a VERY long while. I sat up late last night and prayed the rosary. With a candle and everything. I’ve always fought against a prayer life, fought against doing anything out of my own views. It’s something I’ve struggled with – my faith, and how it works in life. I’ve questioned it many times, and often, instead of running towards God as I should do when I’m questioning or being afraid, I run away. Another nasty habit from way back. It’s just in these last four or five days that I’ve finally made some decisions for true change in my life. I’m just hoping my commitment to change lasts. I have this feeling that it will though.

So, those listening/reading, if you’d please, keep me in your prayers as I go through all of this. Pray for guidance from God, for me and all aspects of my life, pray for my prayer life, if you will, and pray that I make these changes, and get my life pretty well straightened out. There’s one special prayer request I have, but that’s for God to hear – I’d only ask that you mention that I have a special request if you’re praying for me.

Well, I’m going to eat, go back to cleaning, prepare to watch the superbowl. God bless everyone, and thank you all, who might be praying for me or those in my life.

Amazing, on all counts.  You sound good, Jason – like you’re finally working through a lot of the things that have been weighing on your mind.  I’m proud of you, and wish you all kinds of luck with everything.
