An entertaining sight :)

Was making some tea this morning to try and wake up. While doing so, I glanced in our training room which is near by. Let’s say I got a few laughs after seeing this:

Can anyone spot the glaring problem here? smile

They ALL when Blue Screen o’ Death? What on earth were all of them running?

It has that same eerie feeling of walking into a room of cadavers.

“Cadavers” – an interesting way to put it – I can think of a few others myself.  Either way, definitely creepy, and I did get a laugh/shiver from it.  Initially I was like “Ohh, no… we got problems.”

Anyways, nothing was running to our knowledge – they’d just all been turned on.  No clue why the machines all had problems (if I had to guess, I’d guess some sort of power surge issue).

When I saw the pic, I thought that in an effort to save money, the university went back to dos and WP 5.0. Unfortunately I’m just old enough to remember what computer labs used to be like. While in HS I used to hang out in a few at Ohio University in the mid eighties to play games on DOS compatible machines. One of my favorites was tracer sanction, a whopping 169kb file that would fit on a 5” floppy. The graphics at the time were pretty cool. Check it out –

*grin* Nope, not word perfect 5 – I remember that one too Course, I was always one who preferred windows, even windows 3.1.  Course, I got a mac and realized what I was missing When I switched, I no longer missed the above “BSOD“‘s – blue screen of deaths.

For DOS games, here’s a few others for yas – Master of Orion, Warcraft, Gato, SimCity, Tie Fighter, etc.  Some of course, required a CD to play – some were fine on their own though.
